Our work includes both renovations and new construction. Commercial Service Range
Our range for Commercial building projects is much larger than for residential projects. We have made successful bids on contracts as far west as Sarnia, as far north as Barrie, and as far east as Pembrook, Ottawa, and Cornwall.

Residential Service Range
Absolute Contractors is ideally located in the Quinte Region about 1.5 hours east of Toronto on the 401. From our home base just east of Trenton we provide construction services to the area surrounding Belleville and Trenton. We have assumed construction jobs in both urban and rural locations, some of them in extremely environmentally sensitive areas.
Contracts for renovations and other construction projects have taken us to Cobourg in the west, Bancroft in the north, as far east as Kingston, and to Picton in the south. Please don't view this range as a limit; if you need a building contractor, then give us a call.
Company Profile
Absolute Contractors was founded in 1994 by Kirk Putnam. One of his very first projects is shown below. This billboard can still be seen near Shannonville raceway in Southeastern Ontario.
From this modest beginning, the Quinte based business grew quickly as people came to realize that you could count on Absolute Contractors for quality, service, and timely completion of projects.
Absolute Contractor’s list of successful construction projects is incredibly diverse. Absolute has completed renovations, additions, and new building projects for commercial companies, government agencies, the military, and residential clients.
They have executed a large number of unusual outdoor and rural building projects, such as stairs down a steep slope, bridges, and walkways.
Kirk provides oversight, and direction to all the major projects and offers creative solutions for many construction problems. Other family members play a role in the management of the office.
